The Velop is a wireless mesh system with modular nodes that act like a router/extender combo. It provides a strong and seamless wireless connectivity for any type of home. It's tri-band which means it uses three bands/frequencies to accommodate even more devices on your mesh network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I saw this was posted 5 months ago and I hope you have your answer already. If not, Velop is a mesh network which means there are (in this case) three devices that will work together while you walk around between these three devices. For example, if you are using your phone over WiFi near one and then walk to the other end of the house these devices will seamlessly pass your connection to the closest device. In theory anyway. If needed, you can add additional nodes to your system to cover more areas. Tri-band means the router has one 2.4hz and two 5hz signals. More devices are streaming video over 5hz today so by having two it will ... again in theory... do a bit of load balancing.
