• Needs to be plugged into a computer, so unless you have a laptop you won’t be able to hotspot anything

• Hi Queen, Being a webcam, the C922 works when connected to a laptop or desktop via USB connection. That said, as long as you have this connected to one of those kinds of devices, then you should be able to use at a party shooting live footage as a static camera.
