Unfortunately, the mic isn't an option when trying to enable it in the console's audio options when only the 3.5mm jack is in the controller (just the head phones work with sound). I've tried many troubleshooting methods but the ONLY time the mic shows up as an available option is when it is plugged into the ps4 console via USB. ***Let me repeat that for anyone thinking of buying this headset for the PS4: YOU CANNOT USE THE MIC UNLESS THE HEADSET IS PLUGGED INTO THE USB PORT IN THE CONSOLE ITSELF. And the cable is only about 6 feet long. Something to keep in mind for a buyer.***
