Yes, the H600 is compatible with Windows 7. There shouldn't be any installing necessary as it is just plug and play. If it isn't working after plugging it in, I would recommend downloading our Headset Pairing Utility software here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024838473--Downloads-Wireless-Headset-H600 just in case it got unpaired from the receiver.
