Would this work with a Samsung 40" 4k model 6500 TV? null

Works Ok with my 55" UHD 4K 6950. If you haven't gotten your answer yet, you might try downloading the manual for the TV and Keyboard and see if you find it there.

It works with the computer attached to the TV, but i doubt it would work directly on the TV. The TV manufacturer would have to install the hardware interface and keyboard protocols to "talk" to it. AFIK no manufacturer has felt the need to add the additional cost to their TVs.

I would think so if its uses bluetooth.

Yes just plug receiver in to USB on tv
