If your smart TV is Bluetooth enabled and operates with the same Bluetooth frequency as the keyboard then it should connect and operate just as it would with a tablet or computer. You'll have to check and verify your equipment. If your TV isn't Bluetooth enabled you can get a separate Bluetooth transmitter to connect to the TV and then sync the keyboard.
