“The on/off switch is on the bottom and I don’t think there’s a light to remind you keyboard is powered up. Any idea how long the battery will last if you leave it turned on 24/7? Can you replace battery in this type of device?”

There is a light, but it is on the bottom. Battery life is going to depend on your batteries (good/vs cheap - cheap batteries will run out of juice faster). I used this keyboard m-f for work for an entire month, with Duracell Quantum batteries, so it was on for 10-12 hours a day and saw no issues with it lacking performance due to battery drain at the end of that 30 Days. I was fairly fastidious about turning it off at the end of the day though and packing it away. HTH MG103

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes , the batteries that came with it last approximately 4 months and that with power on always. When not in use for a while the keyboard goes into standby mode. That why if you return to the keyboard after not using it for a while you have to hit the connect button to re connect bluetooth to your device. Love this keyboard for the money.
