“I have to re pair the keyboard every time i start my pc by pressing and holding the pc button on the keyboard and also pressing the sync button on the usb stick. how do you make it auto pair without having to re sync it every restart?”

Mines auto syncs. Be sure you've review the settings or check with the Geek Squad

With the keyboard I have I do not have that issue. After I paired it the first time I never had to pair it again.
