Do you have to use a mouse pad with this mouse? null

Hi, The M330 does not need a mousepad as it uses a High Precision Optical Tracking. It will not track on glass. If your desk has a glass surface you may need to use a mouse pad then.

Worked terribly for me with a mousepad, and not at all without one.

You don't, but it makes for a better/smoother experience! It helps to have a smooth surface or table. Cardstock held down might do the trick.

At work No it works fine on the desktop.
