It's not technically ergonomic but it's the easiest mouse for me to use. It raise your hand up higher off the desk because of the shape. Also on the left side there is a slight lip for you thumb to rest on. All of my fingers are dislocated from arthritis that's why I keep buying it when the old one's die.

For my hand at least it requires very little pressure to use and my thumb fits nicely with little pressure on it to move the mouse around. I can only say that the design works really well for me. It's very light and easy to move about. I would suggest trying it out though if possible. I went to the store myself instead of getting it shipped to me so that I could try several in person. I initially tried out a few that were more expensive and was prepared to spend more money for a mouse but this one felt really comfortable and well suited for what I wanted. I have somewhat slender hands I'd say, with fairly long fingers. This mouse is smaller than the one it replaced but I'm really liking it, more than I even thought I might.. If anything it's more comfortable than the more expensive mouse it replaced. I hope this is helpful.

We recommend going into a store and checking out our Logitech Mouse and Keyboard display in the computer section of your local Best Buy. There, you'll be able to check out a wide variety of mice that we offer. You'll be able to find one that best works for you and your arthritis. Have a great day.
