If you connect via Bluetooth, then no because your Mac won’t connect to Bluetooth devices at that point in the boot process. If you use the RF connection (i.e. the USB dongle) then as far as your Mac is concerned it’s a plug-in USB keyboard and it can be used to send boot commands by holding down certain keys or key combinations during boot. Note that the USB port on the MX Keys for Mac keyboard is for charging ONLY, it does not carry data. The keyboard sends data to the Mac via Bluetooth or RF only, not the cable.
