Yes it will. The camera captures wide angle and in my case I can see entire office so I have to zoom in so it shows less of the area.

In my experience, it is. It has the widest widest field of view I could find in a $100-200 webcam (90 degrees).

Yes the mic would possibly work but the focus that far away would not be a winner.
