Caséta dimmers are designed primarily for TRIAC-based dimming, which is common for many residential dimmable LED, incandescent, and halogen bulbs. This is the standard dimming method used in most homes. The PD-6WCL included in this starter kit will follow TRIAC Dimming protocol.
