Hello! Thank you for inquiring. The Diva Smart dimmer utilizes a backlight behind the dimming slider. When you adjust the lights from the Lutron app or a Pico remote, this light bar will extend beyond the slider position. Once you return to the dimmer and use the slider, the light bar will snap to the position that the slider is currently in.
