It will definitely fit, I replaced a Kenmore dishwasher with this one and it fit great. And is definitely an upgrade...

I'd really say 35.5. The spec book states 35 as a cutout but that's just wrong. To provide a super technical answer, you'll need at least 35.2 and it will literally squeak in. 35 just won't go unless you try and force it. Can you get .2 'flex' out of your floor, or the "casters" or tub if you push hard? Probably. You'll definitely have clearance for the motor and what not but even at the lowest point you could shave the feet to make it work.
