the vibration may be caused by the size of the load of the laundry and the washer automatically keeps the tub in balance. The loud clinking sounds are probably coming from the brakes being applied to slow down the spinning of the tub. However these sounds the washer makes does not bother me. My washer is in a laundry room outside instead of in the home.
