Kbucket01, we manufacture several different models with various features and accessories to provide appliances that not only meet increasing government restrictions on energy and Washer usage but will be versatile in meeting the needs of our customers and still providing the best performance our brand is known for. All of our appliances must meet certain criteria by the Department of Energy, and we cannot manufacture appliances if we do not meet their demands. Your new Washer will run longer but it is using less energy. The noise you are hearing at the end of the cycle is the lid lock unlocking.
