Hi Amy, thank you for your inquiry. To prevent vibrations, make sure you are evenly distributing the clothes in loose clumps around the outside perimeter of the tub. This helps prevent uneven loads.

We've grown accustomed to additional noise in exchange for effective results. This machine cleans as advertised but may not be the right model for audible sensitive owners.
