“I use powder soap and have been putting it in the tray dispenser......is the dispenser only for liquid soap? should I remove the tray and just sprinkle soap in with the clothes?”

• Hello Eddie. If you are using powdered detergent you will need to remove the inside tray in the dispenser. We hope this helps!

• According to Maytag's instructions ,you may opt to use power detergent, and when so remove the detergent cover to the tray slot.
