“At what time in the loading process do you add a detergent pod(Tide) and where? Just drop it in the bowl at the start and then add garments? Nothing talks about this in the literature I received.”

I put the detergent at the start. It seems to work just fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Murphy22, I am not 100% sure, but I think this model Maytag only uses liquid HE detergents - no powders or PODS. If you cannot find the answer in the owners manual (available online to download), you might want to ask your question on the Maytag website. Hopes this helps.
