gina, you can use single dose laundry packets in this Maytag® Washer as long as they it is HE detergent but you would need to add it to the drum prior to adding your laundry.

Now as far as we know you could only use the certified liquid detergents that are stated in your direction book that comes with the washer they will specifically specified what detergent you can use
