A:AnswerHi OCDisME, after the unit drains from the soak with the treated clothing still in the basket, you would run a regular cycle, which would include the regular amount of detergent used for that type of cycle. You can also add any other articles of clothing into the load that didn't need to be soaked but is generally washed in the same type of cycle. I personally wash my shoes in this washer.....my canvas Vans. I wash them on the normal cycle in hot water with the normal full spin (fastest). I have found it works well.....and I then just place them out in the warm sun to dry.
