It's different. The original absorbs sweat so it gets gross. This one is wipe and go.

The Meta Quest 3 one is made out of material that is soft and feels almost like a shirt. The silicone one is made out of silicone, obviously. I do not like the silicone one. It’s too warm on the face doesn’t create as good as seal, and just feels worse.
