• You'll need more RAM since it uses at least 2G so need around 4 or more Gigs of RAM if has 2 or less won't even boot up.

• Yes it will work, but remember, BACK UP YOUR STUFF, you will get a choice to overwrite files and save documents, but don't trust that. Always choose to back up so you can load a fresh update.

• There is unfortunately very good chance that if the old laptop was preinstalled with Windows XP, it will also be too old for Windows 10.
