I just used it on my Alien (also a Dell). I installed an SSD as drive0 after removing original HD, changed BIOS boot device to USB, installed, changed BIOS boot device back to drive0 and voila! Installed my original HD as drive1 and can access all old files.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, since it comes with it’s own license key, perform an in-place install. Change your boot device via BIOS (F12 or F2 or something to gain access). Change it to boot from USB, install, and then change boot device back to drive0.
