Hi, No such things as dumb questions. M600's USB port is for charging only. If you add a Chromecast stick to the HDMI port and plug the USB Charge cord into the USB port it will provide power. You can than cast your PPT to the projector. *Check the Chromecast power requirements, certain models require AC only. Thanks, Miroir Team
