Yes, you can place the antenna in your attic. We recommend outdoors as their may be some signal loss depending on your homes building materials, like metal roofs, for instance, would block signals, therefore you would need to install the antenna outdoors. The antenna is multi-directional and will receive Hi-VHF and UHF signals. If you are trying to receive low-VHF signals, then you would need a very large antenna, like a 10 foot span yagi style. Installation depends on your location and where the towers are located. Click this link and put in your zip to see the towers in your surrounding area. There is also a list of TV channels being broadcast from the towers https://www.gomohu.com/tv-for-free.html. You can call us with any questions, 877-825-5572. We are available 7 days a week to help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no it is very directional and you need a relatively clear line between you and the stations you are trying to receive. I found the higher up it is the better and also weather can play a factor wuth all that being said it is a fairly good attenna for the money. Hopes that helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Jack, I don't know about putting in an attic. What I do know is that I live in the country quite a ways from signal sources. I have tried the leaf antenna and had very few channels. I got this antenna and believe it or not, due to my house being old farm house brick, the antenna is currently laying flat on my porch rail about 8 foot from the ground. I get every channel that is anywhere close to my location. Since it is laying flat, I assume that means it is "multi-directional". I don't have to turn it any certain way to get the channels. Channel 9, ABC, has always come in with static. No more! I get all the channels very clearly.
