• Magnets work only on iron and steel. If the steel is angled and smooth expect our phone to 'ride' downward with any vibration.

• It’ll hold but I wouldn’t recommend it. Mine gets stuck to my computer case if I sit it on it and it’s pretty firm but I’ve never mounted it vertically
