You don't need to specifically "purchase" a 4G carrier version of a 5G phone. The Motorola Moto G 2025 is 5G-capable, but it also fully supports 4G/LTE networks. To use it only as a 4G device, you can either select a 4G-only plan from your carrier (if available) or simply adjust the "Preferred network type" setting within the phone's mobile network settings to prioritize 4G/LTE over 5G.

That means even if you buy a 5G phone, it will still work on 4G networks — as long as your carrier supports LTE. If you prefer 4G (for example, because 5G in your area is weak or unstable), you can simply leave it on 4G mode. Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs & mobile network, Tap on Preferred network type, Select LTE / 4G. -Carlos
