• If your car has built in bluetooth it should. My wife uses this phone in her car for text and calls. Phone has bluetooth, car needs to be too.

• Yes. If your car has bluetooth or you have the ability to have an auxillary cable connection from your phone to the car stereo - and you are using an app on your phone that reads texts aloud. Android Auto is an app that will read your text messages and there are several others like Caller Name Talker.
