• Hi Mouser01, glad you're interested in this product. Moto G7 is compatible with Cricket’s network but some service provider specific features may not be available. Please check here for more details: https://www.motorola.com/us/carrier-compatibility. You can contact Cricket for more information regarding this. There should be no problem if you were able to sync your old device to Google account, you will be able to access it. It would be best to backup your files as well. -Ruby

• Sorry, I don't know about Cricket. I have T Mobile. The rep at Best Buy transferred all of my data from my Moto G4 to the G7 including my background screen. Very helpful and knowledgeable.
