It is not an I phone it is an Android phone. I live in valley too works better than any phone I ever had. I even got a cell tower from Sprint with last phone still could not get phone to work. I had an iPhone yrs ago it did not work here either I love this phone I travel around the world and. It works everywhere. I am not a camera person so I can't speak to those types of issues. If you check with your provider they may be able to give you a tower like I have. I can't guarantee that it will work for you but I had the iPhone 5i i think and it would not work here.it was the worst phone for reception here. My sister has a Samsung and it has a great reception on Verizon I think this is the best phone for the price. I love Moto phones I always go back to that brand and have had all the models . Also a phone repair place around the corner agrees with me every employee has Moto phones. If you contact Moto you may be able to return it if it does not work but it is way more expensive. Best buy charges restock fee.
