“I used to have a device similar to this, but when I parked my car in the garage and went inside the house it stayed connected to my phone and I had to manually disconnect or pull the cord out in the car. Any one had that issue with this device?”

It'll all depend on your car. Some cars keep their USB ports powered even when the car is off so it'll keep your phone connected to it if you're within the range.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the power in the car stays on it will. I don't park close enough to my house so it's not a big deal to me but can definitely be frustrating walking away and it be connected as it continuously pops up android auto.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This may be dependent on the usb port. I use mine in a 2021 Tacoma and have no issues with the device dosconnecting when it is turned off. If the port remains powered after the vehicle is off, I can imagine the Bluetooth connection remaining.
