Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As to the question, I think it works with any tv. But the quality can be different. Now, eARC is the best connection and the newer models have them. If you gonna spend that kind of money as might as well get the right tv.

I have the soundbar connected to the TV via the eARC HDMI port for Dolby Atmos and my PS5 and XSX connected directly to the TV so I don't lose VRR/ALLM. I think the soundbar passes through 4K HDR and Dolby Vision, but not VRR and ALLM, so I would recommend the same setup if you're a gamer. You get the best sound and visuals then.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using this sound at system with a two year old Sony HD 65” OLED top of the line set. I am also using a Sony HD Blu-ray player. It is FANTASTIC. It’s expensive, but you get what you pay for. My granddaughter loves it. Movie theater quality sound in my living room.
