• It takes the one that says for Nespresso and comes with a sampler pack to get you started.

• It takes the standard nespresso pods, not vurturo. it does not take keurig size pods. These pods are smaller and rounded on the bottom. the ones from nespresso are aluminum and can be recycled through their pod recycling program (get a large envelope from them the first time you order, then fill it up, drop it at ups and off it goes to be recycled).

• It only takes pods made specifically for Nespresso Original machines

• All the Nepresso machines take their pods. Either the Original or the Vertuo pods depending on which machine you have. And also the pods determine the size of the coffee too
