I believe you're talking about the same thing. Just that the last one says "with Google assistant". The only differences exist between Nest Hub Max and the Nest Hub Gen 2. However, they both have Google Assistant.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a first generation hub that I’ve had for a couple years and recently purchased a 2nd generation hub for another location. I use the new one with a wired indoor camera and the biggest difference I’ve noticed is that I have to use the Google home app with the newer version compared to the older one that I use with a first generation wired Nest doorbell where I use with the Nest app for video monitoring. I’m not sure if that has more to do with the hub itself or the version of the cameras (maybe both). I think the display itself may have a different bevel or minor border difference allowing visual display right to physical edge of the device. Both work great and offer many features: camera monitoring, music/media, online news, etc.
