If the motor goes out, how do you unlock it? null

Sadly by going in another. door!

First, the batteries will eventually die, but your lock will let you know when the batteries are low so you should never have "the motor go out".

You’ll still be able to unlock your door with the keypad if the Wi-Fi goes down, but you won’t be able to use the Nest app to control your lock or change settings. Also, your lock is battery powered, so you’ll still be able to use the keypad if the power goes out. You’ll always be able to lock and unlock the deadbolt from inside even if the power is out or the Wi-Fi goes down.
