“If I plug this switch into my wireless router will the switch give off a wireless signal too? My router is covered to reduce signal. I am trying to hard wire everything, thus avoid wireless exposure. Will I have to cover the switch too?”

Switches are key building blocks for any network. They connect multiple devices, such as computers, wireless access points, printers, and servers; on the same network within a building or campus. A switch enables connected devices to share information and talk to each other. It doesn’t have any WiFi features so it won’t give any WiFi signal . Also you don’t need to cover the switch
