“In our offices, computer is connected to a phone with an ethernet cord and then the phone is connected to the wall jack with an ethernet cord. I have desks with a phone and computer that both need to use the same wall jack. Will this splitter do that?”

• A splitter is basically a sharing device! Sounds like you have a VOIP PHONE (internet data phone)! Both computer should be able to share the connection with a dual Ethernet connector!

• Yes. Whatever endpoint is your Internet out cable (from wall or modem or phone) goes into one of the port on switch. Once that is done all other port's on switch should be active and ready to use
