• You may want to get another opinion - I can't imagine this being any benefit without wireless - it has no input port...it only receives signal from wireless -

• Yes I have satellite and it works just grand and it is hard wire to my computer and I use this on my old windows XP it just fine

• You would have to have a Wifi router for this item to work on your laptop.

• no it will not. this requires a wireless network 2.4ghz or 5ghz
