• If the Blu ray is connected to a Windows 7,8,10 machine, yes. If it is a Mac, probably not.

• Hello, i am pretty sure it will work if your blu ray player has a usb port,but the adapter should be returnable if it doesn't. Ask a salesperson to be sure though.
