You will either need their router or supply your own. Theirs is a modem/router combo, so more than likely if you use theirs and have a your own modem, you will still be renting their modem after having paid for the Netgear. You would need your own router with wi-fi if you choose this product. I chose Google Nest, but there are several other great choices out their.
