Hard to say for sure but my PC is 60ft away from my xfinity wifi router going through 3 walls and a floor and it works perfectly. Speeds are about as fast as you can get on Wifi. We get 340MB down and 38MB up but we have Xfinity 1GB connection to the house. Wired to the Xfinity router I get 900MB down and 38MB up. So you always have some overhead with WiFi

Explain the "other trailer" in relation to your wireless connection. "Effect on speed and signal strength" , meaning what exactly, if we are just talking about the adapter, then it will increase the wireless connection compared to that of a regular wireless adapter built-in to computer usually a laptop considering all info in the question. Unless the computer you're using is an expensive upgraded laptop then this should be an UPGRADE and increase speed and connect to the signal with current upgraded characteristics (website states 3 X 4 MIMO design- expanded bandwidth capacity) considerably. MIMO = is an antenna technology for wireless communications in which multiple antennas are used at both the source (transmitter) and the destination (receiver). The antennas at each end of the communications circuit are combined to minimize errors and optimize data speed.
