My question to you. What is the price difference? I've always used a combo router/modem without issues. If you have a large # of wireless items. Buy a good router to handle them all. I have over 20 items on my Nighthawk 1900.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I like having the one unit instead of two separate devices. Setup is very simple and quick.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you buy them separately, you have the option to upgrade one or the other. But if you're not an "enthusiast" per se, then the 2-in-1 combos should suffice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I like the fact it is 2 in 1... One less device for power, desk space, and one less expense for a higher end cable modem. This bundles everything in one device where buying higher end of each would cost more.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With how quickly electronics get outdated, I would bet that you'll be ready to upgrade by the time this one goes bad. I've yet to have a Netgear die on me. They always need to be upgraded before that happens. Usually every 1-3 years.
