I'm not sure about the TV service, but I have internet and phone from TWC. When they installed it, they put in a separate modem to handle the phone, and used a splitter for the cable between the phone modem and my Netgear unit. Both phone and router seem to work fine. There was no charge for the phone modem, so I'm saving $10 a month. Now this is for a normal land-line phone, it might be VOIP but I'm not sure. I hope this info helps you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you should be fine. I kept the TWC phone service. They tell you to keep the modem for the phone for free. You'll also have to get their free adaptor kit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.we have time warner too, I had to get a separate phone modem through time warner. thankfully they don't charge a monthly fee for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Time Warner will let you keep your old modem for your phone service. They will stop charging you the monthly fee and will disable the data service to the old modem. This modem works fine with TWC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is on the TWC list for compatible modems. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work with the phone service. I bought it to avoid the rental fees & I too got the magic jack. It works great ! Just remember if you get the magic jack and want to keep your same phone #, don't cancel your phone service until your number is transferred over & you get a confirmation(I think they say it takes about 10 days).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. You can drop phone service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try Ooma for VOIP. Just plug it into the back of the AC1900, connect phone line. I've used it for years. No fees, just taxes of about $5/month.
