Is this compatible with Century Link Fiber Optic? null

Unfortunately I can't answer your question about using this cable modem/router with regard to fiber optics connection. We have regular cable internet service. I can tell you the technician recommended getting this Netgear unit over what the cable company provides. It gives the best spectrum of signal available for the cable company.
