This modem is not a router, you must purchase it separately. It is compatible with many carriers and it does have parental controls.

No this is just the modem. You will have to get the router separate. We bought a nighthawk by netgear that has parental controls and multiple sections so you can have some devices without and some with

This is only a modem you will need to buy a router. I have Comcast’s highest internet along with this modem and the new wi fi 6 orbi router. Also for parental control you would need to make sure the router you get has that option.

No, it's simply a modem. You can put whatever router you'd like behind it and it should work fine, but no wifi or router capabilities built into this model.
