Yes, there are 4 Lan type plugs in the back, however, the connection between your router and the extender is on a wireless basis. I suspect your work would not feel this meets their guidelines, but you may want to check. That part aside, this extender is excellent when it works, but that is rare. I bought three to pair with my high end netgear nighthawk routed. Our wifi and overall network goes down constantly. I returned two so far and expect to return the other this week. This will not be an issue for you if you are willing to power cycle your modem, router then the extender every day (sometimes twice in a day). Overall, this extender has huge flaws that make more of a problem than helpful.
