I found this Extender has a stronger output than my original equipment. There are no more dead spots.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on how much area you need to cover. I am in a 2500 sq. ft.. house. My 6XS is on the opposite end of the house from my router and one floor below. I have seamless coverage with just one 6XS Extender.
