Yes. I use mine to connect from my shop to the house and its at the back of my 1/3rd acre lot and has plenty of signal strength.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi you didn't list how fast your older netgear equipment is. The other problem is satellite signal strength after extending a 300 foot distance. I used to have satellite (dish) it maxes out at 3MPs? which is way to slow and weak of a signal for an extension and does not go through walls, materials well. at 300 feet will require a higher wifi(such as EX8000) range extender, since the cheap wifi extenders will lose part of the signal, it still may be difficult to reach that distance. one alternative If you are able to and have access is to go with a wired service xfinity etc and then either using the wifi extender or if it is still not strong enough signal extending a physical cable from your box towards the other office building. although non satellite services are more expensive, you can justify the increased expense by using your netgear to have a stronger signal, being able to dump cable going with hulu DIsh now etc (if this is a non business) plus you need faster speeds if it is a business. good luck I hope this helps!
